This villa is inspired by the Italian Renaissance artist and inventor, Leonardo Da Vinci, and is truly an artist’s retreat. This hideaway is intimate and cozy, featuring sky blue walls of Venetian plaster with a revolving art collection from local galleries. Panoramic ocean views of the Laguna Beach coastline are seen from the front living area and porch. The master bedroom is intimate and restful with a mahogany wood Queen bed and signature cotton bedding. The gourmet kitchen is outfitted with dark wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances and marble countertops. The living-dining area is set with a bar style tabletop with chairs and a leather couch, which is also a sleeper sofa.

  Absolutely stunning views. Stellar location walking distance to the beach (2 min) and to the restaurants (5-10 min). The place itself is high class, but comfortable. Great place for a family of 4 or a girls weekend.

  Started out well with the reservation process. As was the check in process. Upon entering the villa, we immediately noticed the cleaning was sub par. Also noticed ants. Maid came and cleaned spots we noticed that were unacceptable. Did not have anything for the ants, however. Except a spray that would be harmful to our dog. The condition of the unit is definitely not depicted in the online photos. Dishwater is definitely defective and on its last leg. Toilet paper roll was broken. Air conditioning/heat not working properly. Sadly left our homemade apple pie on the refrigerator. Didn’t expect to retrieve that, however, I have emailed several times asking about our pie plate. Passed down from my late mother. I’ve not received one response. When we were checked in, they answered promptly. Which we appreciated. Now, nothing. Definitely has us very upset. Positive notes.. the location is fantastic and the space with a view was worth it.

  This is an amazing location. The view and kitchen are worth the money. However, one thing I will say is the sofa couch is very uncomfortable. My family was located during the recent fires in Irvine and my son slept on the pull out bed in the sofa. He said the bar was in his back and every time he moved you would here the most wretched noise. For the money I would hope they would replace the couch for the future. Other than that and the floors not very clean, I would recommend this place and would love to return under different circumstances.

  Really enjoyed our stay in Laguna. The management & staff were very friendly and helpful. Our unit was very clean with a few exceptions. The ceiling above tub was moldy (I know this happens at the beach). The outdoor cushions need replacing (thin as paper). I brought these things to management attention, & we’re grateful for me telling them.

  We went here for a local staycation. The location is incredible... you are overlooking another rooftop, but you see water, lots of it. The walk down to the beach is quick and easy. You are also close to town, so it's all walkable and we didn't need to get into the car the whole time we were there.
  
  As for the accommodations-- it's a great size. A tiny living space, a kitchen and a queen sized bed. The deck is perfect. The only down sides are that the place is worn-- you see it on some of the furniture and cabinets. The only other very minor complaint-- it's hard to watch TV the way the tv and couch are situated.

  We wanted to upgrade for our wedding weekend, so they recommended the villa by the ocean. Iam super happy that I asked for an upgrade because the place and view were perfect. The bed was really comfortable. The only bad thing was that we could only stay one night due to work the following day.

  Felt misled regarding view of ocean. Spoke to three different people when trying to book. They read a script. Wouldn’t show me to villa once I checked in. I explained very important for me to distance from strangers and impossible here. The private walk to beach and dog walk was a joke too. Upon check 8n,which I got all in quote for 2;400 dollars. Didn’t include pkg. I disputed that because my quote included everything. Then they charged me 75 a night for my dog which wasn’t allowed in beach 9am til 6. My opti9n alley or the private dog path. Which by the way I have halls wider and dog **** was everywhere.
  The place was very clean. Hardly any cookware couldn’t even find a pan to bake in. There were also window that did not lock. I had to put weights and what I had to feel safe.

  Decided to do a last minute overnight stay with my sister who flew in from out of town. We could not have been happier. The room was amazing! The view was incredible! The amenities (1 and 1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, deck, fireplace, etc.) was more than I could have asked for! The bed was so comfortable and the shower was like a built-in massage. I can't wait to go back for another last minute get away!

  Arrived on Xmas day to discover it was a bait and switch..the unit I booked was ocean front with views of the ocean from all windows on the ocean side. The unit we were taken to was a view of a parking lot and backed up to an alley. I went back to manager and said there was a mistake and she said the pictures were of the general area not of a specific unit. I told her I was not not paying for it and I would dispute the charges on my Amex.. She called someone and offered me another unit but it would only be available for half the time I was supposed to be there. I declined. I told them I wanted a complete refund and they did credit me before I left the property..which was the only positive experience of the property.

  Great location, cute apartments but they are small so travel light. It would be tough for any more than 2 people. Easy beach access and quick walk to everything. The common area balcony was a big bonus, specially when we had family visit one afternoon, beautiful ocean views. The Deck restaurant is located in the hotel right next door, beachside seating and a classy bar with fireplace, The Stateroom too, for evening drinks.
